Beginning of Business Meeting: Call to Order Moderator: "I hereby call to order our business meeting annual session" Adoption of the Agenda Moderator: “If there are no objections, we will adopt the agenda as presented by unanimous consent (pause briefly) . Hearing no objection, the agenda is adopted.” Special Meeting Rules Each agenda item will have a 15 minute time limit for discussion. Each messenger will be given 3 minutes to speak for or against each motion. If extended time is needed, the moderator will come back to the body to request an extension of 10 mins. If a messenger requests information when another messenger is speaking, the moderator will ask whether the messenger will yield time or wishes to continue without addressing the question. Members should rise when making nominations and need not be recognized by the chair unless he or she wishes to speak in debate on it at the same time.
